like all handmade items these journal inserts are not perfectly made. some of the papers have deckles edges and/or other imperfections that don’t allow a perfect alignment with the rest of the papers. the edges of these inserts are not always smooth due to the thinness of the papers and the sharpness of the blade that cut them. overall, these beautiful journals are uniquely handmade and look handmade. as always, we encourage taking the time to view the product video for a more in depth look before placing your order.
